This hearty chili has an array of flavors, melded together to form a warm delicious meal to fill you up on those cold winter days!
In a large pot, add olive oil and allow to heat up. Add onions, garlic and a little salt and pepper. Sauté until onions are softened, about 3–5 minutes.
Add tomato paste, chili powder and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3–5 minutes until mixture starts to brown. Add ground beef and cook until meat is done; don’t overcook.
Add tomatoes, Guinness and kidney beans. Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer. Add more salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Season with a dash of hot sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese before serving.
