You can make this yummy soup for less than $10! So easy and delish! The best with hot cornbread and honey. Mmm.
Brown meat in a 6-8 quart pot and drain off any grease. Pour seasoning and canned ingredients into the pot and stir. Cover and simmer on low for 30 minutes.
Whip up a batch of your favorite cornbread or some homemade tortillas. Serve soup topped with 1-2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar, a dollop of sour cream and broken up tortilla chips. Sometimes I add some chopped cilantro if I have it laying around the house or a squeeze of fresh lime juice too.
Also reheats like magic for lunch the next day!
