This is a true Southern favorite. This recipe is so simple and easy and best of all, you make it in the crockpot. Perfect for the hot weather we have been having this summer. Dinner is done when you get home and no more slaving over a hot stove, oven or standing outside grilling. Pair it with your favorite corn bread or baking powder biscuit and you have the perfect Southern dinner!
In a 4 quart slow cooker/crockpot place onion, chicken and ham. In a small bowl combine tomatoes (undrained), broth, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, thyme, black pepper and the hot sauce. Mix and pour over chicken/ham/onion. Add frozen vegetables over the top. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 6 hours.
Serves approximately 8.
