Who doesn’t love a good fry?
Peel potatoes and slice into fry shapes. Place into a bowl of very cold water and let sit anywhere from 2-24 hours. Drain and pat dry with paper towels. Heat peanut oil to approximately 300ºF. Fry potatoes until tender on the inside but not brown. Drain on fresh paper towels. Increase oil temperature to approximately 400ºF and cook fries in batches until brown and crispy. Place onto fresh paper towels and sprinkle with salt. Serve immediately.

Sounds good, but you better be serving more than 2 people with 4 baking potatoes-worth of fries, or you’ll both weigh 500 lbs!
