Easy way to fix steel cut oats (with fruit).
Place all ingredients in a 2-quart slow cooker. Don’t use a larger cooker, as this won’t work well.
Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours.
Serve with milk. Add cinnamon, maple syrup and/or sugar to taste.
Note: you can make this on a weekend, portion out into zip lock bags and refrigerate. Reheat in the microwave for a hearty weekday breakfast. Can also be frozen.
