Description

A wonderful, refreshing side to make around the holidays or anytime! I like to put it in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving. Even family members who don’t like cranberries like this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 2 Tablespoons White Sugar
  • 1 can (about 16 Oz. Can) Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Crushed Pineapple, Well Drained
  • ½ cups Chopped Pecans
  • 8 ounces, weight Cool Whip

Preparation

Cream together softened cream cheese and sugar. Add cranberry sauce, pineapple and nuts and mix well. Fold in Cool Whip.

Keep in the refrigerator till ready to serve.

My family really enjoyed this at our Thanksgiving gathering. In fact, some people ate it at dinner and again a few hours later for dessert! One note: I doubled everything but the Cool Whip for a bigger crowd, and it seemed like the perfect level of sweetness.

Made this for family thanksgiving…it was a hit! Even the picky people liked it! Not too sweet but not too tangy…will probably become a staple at our table!
