Make corn dogs at home! Save the money you would normally spend on street vendors during festivals and carnivals while having fun in the kitchen.
Heat oil on the stove. If you have a fryer, get that ready. I used a pan on my stove on high heat.
Mix the milk and egg together, set aside.
In separate bowl combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and pepper and baking powder. Mix together then add the milk/egg mixture.
Spear the hotdogs with your skewers and roll in batter.
Fry em up!
Let dry on paper towels. Serve!

My kids love corn dogs and I must admit, so do I! What I love about these is that you have control over the quality of hot dogs used.

I’ve made these before and they are so YUMMY!!!
But I cut the hotdog in half and made
mini corn dogs. Great for little ones to enjoy
