A Cozy Kitchen is desperately trying to hold on to summer with this white kiwi-apple sangria.
In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir. Allow to chill for at least an hour so the flavors can combine. Serve over ice. Then, make another pitcher.

The fourth time I made this I used peachtree schnapps and it was even better than ever!

Wait, is the lemonade supposed to be fizzy? I just bought everything except the lemonade and liquer to make this. I’ve never made sangria before.

Made this for my book club friends on Thursday. Made it on Wednesday night, it was good on Thursday evening but was FANTASTIC on Friday evening. I highly recommend making it a few days ahead. Couldn’t find any Cointreau in our small town so had to settle for Triple Sec.
The second batch was made with a sweet (think reisling) white wine & was great–think I’ll do that again next time. Some orange slices would probably be good in there too!

jujubee, though i didn’t submit this recipe, i think it generally holds true that sangria is always BEST made the night before the party. just combine everything except the lemonade (or whatever you’re using to add a bit of fizz) in a pitcher and store in fridge overnight, covered up. just before serving add lemonade and voila!
