This is my go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies, and my husband suggested that I add crushed Oreos to them. Because these are made with whole wheat, you can pretend they’re healthy!
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed Oreos. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Centers will be soft. Cool slightly, then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.
