This simple, delicious treat takes minutes and is very tasty. It uses the white almond bark and smashed candy canes, and is requested every year by my family!
1. Peel the candy canes (there should be 12 in a box), and place them in a gallon-sized plastic bag. Using a meat tenderizer or a rolling pin, smash the candy canes into little pieces.
2. Break the brick of bark into three or four pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for three minutes. Stir.
3. Stir the pieces of broken candy cane into the melted bark.
4. Spread the mixture onto a waxed-paper-lined cookie sheet and place in the refrigerator or freezer until it hardens.
5. Break into pieces. It does not need to be kept refrigerated.
