Description

Looking for a crowd-pleasing recipe to take to your next get-together? Try this deliciously sweet bread pudding, created with ease of travel in mind. By using familiar ingredients with a twist, this fast (and easy!) dessert is sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BREAD PUDDING:
  • 1 loaf White Bread, Cubed
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ sticks Butter, Melted
  • Cinnamon And Sugar (for Sprinkling On Top)

  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 6 ounces, weight White Chocolate Chips
  • ½ sticks Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Water
  • ¼ teaspoons Vanilla
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ cups Sweetened, Condensed Milk
  • ¼ cups Cinnamon Sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. Cube 1 loaf of white bread into a 9×13 baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Make the custard by combining milk, vanilla, sugar, eggs, and butter with an electric mixer. Mix until combined. Pour over the bread and let soak for atleast 10 minutes. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar and bake for 40 minutes.

For the glaze, melt the white chocolate chips with 1/2 stick of butter over medium heat. Once combined and melted, add the water, vanilla, powdered sugar, and sweetened condensed milk. Return to medium/low heat for a few more minutes. Then add remaining cinnamon sugar.

Spoon the warm pudding into a bowl/parfait glass/ramekin and drizzle with warm glaze. Sprinkle a few white chocolate chips on top and enjoy!

Needed a recipe to use up a loaf of French bread that was going to go bad. Liked that the recipe didn’t call for half and half or cream. Very yummy! Thanks for sharing!
