Here is my recipe for whipped cream. It is basic but oh so good!
Start by chilling a mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes.
Then add whipping cream and beat until it begins to thicken.
Add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Be careful not to over beat or this will turn to butter.
Store in the refrigerator

i’ve never used confectioner’s sugar when making whipped cream! I always use granulated sugar and sometimes add some of the stabilizer to it so it holds it’s shape. I’m making a lemon tart tomorrow and bought a large thing of whipping cream, i’ll try the confectioners sugar instead! Thanks for sharing.
