An easy, tasty treat for any special occasion.
Crush Oreos in a food processor. Add cream cheese and mix until a dough forms. Roll dough into balls and freeze for about 15 minutes.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Dip the frozen truffles in melted chocolate or candy melts & decorate as desired. I keep mine in the freezer until I am ready to use them.
Remove from freezer at least one hour before serving.
Tip – I use a Wilton Candy Dipping tool when dipping the balls into the chocolate coating. This helps the coating to drip more evenly and they look nicer.
