Description

If you love Twinkies, you’ll love this cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Yellow Or Butter Cake Mix, 18 Ounce Box
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cups Butter, Melted
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ⅛ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3 whole Eggs

Preparation

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Grease and flour two 9-inch round pans, or spray with baking spray with flour.

In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute, scraping the sides of the bowl constantly (batter will be thick). Beat 2 minutes longer. Pour batter into the prepared pans. Bake as directed on cake mix box.

Cool cake, then frost with the following recipe which you’ll find here on Tasty Kitchen called: “That’s The Best Frosting I’ve Ever Had.” (it’s true)
