Description

The world’s best crunchy, buttery, chocolaty chocolate chip cookie you will ever have! You won’t regret it, I promise! My friend passed this recipe on to me and I will cherish it forever. Now get baking!

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks Butter
  • 1-¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1-¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 24 ounces, weight Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream the butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. Add the flour, baking soda and salt, and beat it until it is smooth. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.

Bake 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool completely on a cooling rack.

Now this next bit is important! Let them get hard and crispy; it’s so much more rewarding! These also taste really good with white chocolate and dried blueberries!

The recipe yields about 5 dozen cookies.

Enjoy!

I made these cookies yesterday. I was looking for a new version of this classic cookie. My family said that it IS in fact the world’s best chocolate chip cookie! Thanks for the recipe.

Super crispy. I added a dash of cinnamon and used half semi-sweet and half dark chocolate chips. Absolutely divine!
