These tasty date and oatmeal cookies use the natural sweetness of the dates rather than any sugar to making a relatively healthy but delicious treat.
Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
In a large mixing bowl, blend chopped dates and butter. Add egg and mix in. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
Take spoonfuls of dough and roll slightly in your hand. Put on a lightly greased baking tray, leaving about 2 inches between them. Gently flatten them.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until cookies start to brown.
