Description

Smooth, creamy, delicious. Simple and elegant. Tastes like stuffed French toast. Swoon-worthy!

Ingredients

  • Butter, To Spread On The Bread Slices
  • ½ loaves French Bread, Sliced 1-2 Inches Thick
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cups Strawberry Jam, For Spreading
  • 6 whole Strawberries, Sliced

Preparation

Butter slices of bread, both sides. Grill bread on a large skillet over medium heat and set aside.

Beat cream cheese, honey and sugar until smooth. Spread on top of the bread. Brush with jam. Top with strawberries.

Lastly, SWOON!

Upon first taste I thought, “strawberry French toast!” This was absolutely delish warm and possibly even better cold the next morning! This is a little messy to eat when warm, but totally worth the mess. I did heat the jam a little bc it was thick and hard to spread over the warm cream cheese. We didn’t eat it all, so input the last 2 pieces in the fridge. They sat overnight and were even better the next morning for breakfast after the bread soaked up some of the goodness–yum!
