A simple and delicious recipe for melt-in-your-mouth chewy sugar cookies. These are wonderful with cream cheese frosting.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add sour cream and mix well.
Beat in eggs. Add vanilla (I always add extra!) and baking soda and mix well.
Stir in flour. Dough will be very delicate.
Refrigerate dough until chilled.
Using extra flour, roll dough out to be about 1/4 inches thick. Cut out cookies with cookie cutters and place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
***Do NOT over bake.
