This is sure to bust any diet you are currently on. Beware.
1. Preheat oven to 400ºF and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine boiling water, butter, oil and cocoa, and mix until well blended.
3. Add sugar and flour to the cocoa mixture and beat to combine. Once mixture has cooled slightly, beat in the eggs.
4. Beat in buttermilk, soda and salt.
5. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 20 minutes.
6. While cake bakes, prepare the fudge icing.
7. Bring butter, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil in a small sauce pan.
8. Remove icing from heat and beat powdered sugar and vanilla.
9. Remove cake from the oven and poke holes all over the top. Pour hot icing over the hot cake.
10. Once cake has cooled, store in the fridge.
