Simple butter cookies with almond!
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt, almond extract, and egg, beating until well incorporated. Gradually add the flour until well incorporated.
Scoop the dough into the cookie press with your desired disk and press dough onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly brown at the edges.
Note: If you do not have a cookie press, you can roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface and use a cookie cutter. Then bake for the same amount of time.
