A sweet and salty melt in your mouth treat!
Pre-heat oven to 400*F
Place saltine crackers on cookie sheet slightly overlapping.
Melt butter and brown sugar together and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes.
Pour mixture over saltine crackers and bake in oven for 6-8 minutes. (mixture should bubble but not burn).
Remove and sprinkle both types of chips evenly over the hot mixture.
Let sit for two minutes, then gently spread chocolate around to coat the crackers.
Let cool completely. Cut in to squares. Enjoy!

We call this Christmas Crack (because you just can’t stop eating it!) :o)
Another topping… Andes mints pieces (they sell them already broken up!)… SO YUMMY!

I always make these for Christmas and got this recipe from my Grandma. She always used semisweet chocolate chips and then sprinkled almonds on top. Chill until the chocolate hardens and then break into pieces. Tastes like toffee but much easier to make! This is a wonderful recipe. I have not tried using white chips, but will try it the next time I make them.
