Easy-peasy treats that are a step up from Snap, Crackle, and Pop’s recipe.
Melt Karo syrup and sugar in saucepan over LOW heat until the top starts to bubble. Remove from the stove and add peanut butter; stir until well-mixed. Quickly combine the mixture with Rice Krispies in a large mixing bowl, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Press into a 9×13 pan.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in the microwave, stirring every 1 minute until melted. Pour over Rice Krispies and spread evenly.
Cool. Cut into squares. Best served with a glass of milk!

For a dinner I’m attending, tomorrow night, I made 3 batches of your Rice Krispie treats.
I could’ve gotten by with two batches, but the first batch was partially inhaled by family.
That’s a good sign!
Truth to tell — I was munchin’ away, too!
The peanut butter makes them yummy.
Thank you.

These are so good! I’ve never really been a Rice Krispie Treat fan (too bad for me, great for my hips) and then I tried these and have been converted (not so great for my hips, or my thighs, or my behind.) Try them, you will not be sorry!
