A classic snack gets a makeover.
1. Bake the cake according to the instruction on the box (you’ll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package). Chocolate cake works best here. Let cool.
2. Crumble up the cake with your hands.
3. Add the peanut butter and your favorite jam/jelly to the crumbled cake. Mix well.
4. Crush your flakes and add half of the flakes into the peanut-butter-jelly-cake mix. Stir in to incorporate.
5. Use a cookie scoop to form balls. Place them onto wax paper or directly onto a cookie sheet and stick them into a fridge/freezer for about 30 minutes.
6. Remove from fridge and roll each ball in the remaining crushed frosted flakes.
7. Serve or place back in the fridge until ready to serve.
