This is the easiest recipe I know for Panna Cotta. Perfect results every time. Add a few berries in the bottom of your ramekins for a fun twist.
Dissolve gelatin into water. Let stand.
Heat cream, milk, sugar & vanilla in heavy saucepan to simmer.
Stir gelatin into cream mixture. Cook & stir just long enough to melt the gelatin.
Pour into ramekins. Let cool on counter. Move to fridge.
Refrigerate until set (several hours or overnight).
