Description

My mom gave me this recipe, and any party I bring these cookies to I get amazing compliments. Little do they know how EASY they are to make. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • ⅔ cups Oil
  • 4 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 tub Vanilla Or Cream Cheese Frosting

Preparation

1. Mix cake mixes, oil, and eggs together.

2. Shape into round balls, around 1 -2 inches (depending on how big you want your cookies).

3. Bake at 350F for 9-10 minutes.

4. Optional – When you take pan out of the oven the cookies will be slightly rounded. In order to get flatter cookies drop the pan about 2 inches above a flat service as soon as you take the cookies out of the oven.

5. After cookies have cooled, place frosting on the flat side of one cookie and place another cookie on top of the frosting.

Note: I have put the prep time at 30 minutes because of the time it takes to frost all the cookies. I put the cook time at 30 minutes because of the multiple batches involved.

Also, to all you amazing cooks out there, you probably have a homemade frosting recipe. These would be extra yummy with any of those recipes.
Enjoy!

I have been making these cookies for 14 years and they are always a hit! No one can believe how easy they are when they ask for the recipe. They are great when you need something quick.
