Oatmeal raisin/chocolate chip cookies
Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together in a separate bowl the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to the creamed mixture.
Slowly stir in the oatmeal (batter will be very thick).
Mix in raisins and pecans or substitute a 12 ounce bag chocolate chips.
Roll dough into golf-ball sized balls and bake at 375F degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Hint – I use a melon ball scoop instead of rolling the dough.
