A chewy molasses cookie that barely makes it to the cookie jar and disappears quickly! The addition of the dark cocoa gives this recipe an edge that takes molasses cookies to a new level. You can double this recipe.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend oil, sugar, egg, and molasses until well blended. Combine flour, dark cocoa, salt, baking soda, and spices and add to the wet ingredients. Roll into 1-inch balls and dip in the turbinado sugar. Bake no longer than 9 minutes.
