Description

I waited so long to post this recipe. I am telling you, this is one of the best cookies I have ever tasted. I couldn’t stop eating this till I finish the entire jar. In our place there are no M&Ms available so instead I used Cadbury’s Gems which turned out perfect. Next time when I make this, I will add some more gems on top of the cookie so that it will look pretty. This cookie came out so soft and it was so good.

Ingredients

  • 3-⅝ ounces, weight Butter
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 5-½ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¾ cups M&Ms
  • ¾ cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C(350°F).

In a mixing bowl add in butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.

Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.

Throw in the M&Ms and chocolate chips and mix well. Set this in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Divide into equal-sized balls and place in a parchment-lined baking tray. Leave space between each dough ball.

Bake this for about 15-20 minutes. Check it often, it should be light golden on top.

Take it out of the oven and cool on a wire rack.

After it has cooled completely, keep in an airtight container. Enjoy with a cup of milk.

Hi! I LOVE soft cookies and yours look fantastic! I was wondering if you could give the butter measurement in cups? I don’t have a scale, unfortunately :-(
