Meringues are perfect for both the Passover and Easter holidays and they are made with just 2 ingredients—egg whites and maple syrup.
Preheat oven to 200°F.
In a medium pot combine egg whites and maple syrup. Turn flame on stove to lowest setting possible. Using a hand blender with whisk attachment, whisk meringues in the pot while it’s on the stove. Whisk for 4-5 minutes total, until stiff glossy peaks form. Remove from heat.
Fit a pastry bag with a ⅜-inch round tip (Ateco #804) and fill bag with meringue. Pipe meringue kisses that are roughly 1-inch in diameter onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake at 200°F for 2 hours. Remove from oven. Allow to cool for 1 hour. Serve!

Hi Elana, These look very good and so easy too. Have you tried any other flavors?
I wondered about using chocolate syrup or cocoa powder.
