Description

A lightened-up buttery flavored cookie that is crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and chock full of M&M’s.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cream Of Tartar
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ cups Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cups Egg Substitute (Or Swap 1 Egg For The 1/4 Cup Of Egg Substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ cups M&M's, Milk Chocolate Flavored

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, add flour, cream of tartar, salt and baking soda; set aside.

In a large bowl add butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until creamy. Beat in flour mixture, until just incorporated. Gently stir in M&M’s.

Using a cookie scoop, drop scoops of the cookie dough about 2″ apart on prepared baking sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Cool cookies on the pan slightly then remove them from the cookie sheet to a wire rack. Cool completely.
