Enjoy this cool and refreshing desert on a hot summer day with a mound of cool whip on top. An awesome treat for youngsters!
Bake the cake mix as instructed on box.
When it cools, poke holes all around the cake. Stir up the jello mix as directed, then pour the liquid over the cake.
Cover with plastic wrap and then place in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Cut into pieces and dollop with whipped cream. Enjoy!!!

This is a favorite in our house any time of year! I like it best with raspberry or strawberry jell-o, but using the lemon flavor recently was a fun twist!

I made this for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. We used strawberry jello. It was delicious! Very moist!
