Description

Some people know them as Scotch-O-Roos but I renamed them just for fun. They are like Rice Krispie treats but are so much better. The chocolate literally melts in your mouth! I hope you enjoy them, mates!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 package Chocolate Chips
  • 1 package Butterscotch Chips

Preparation

Melt sugar, Karo, and peanut butter in pan (If you want, you could add a couple drops of vanilla).

Pour mixture over Rice Krispies and evenly coat. Place Rice Krispies into a 9″ by 13″ pan. In a double boiler, melt the chips together and then pour on top of the Rice Krispies, evenly coating everything. Enjoy!

You may want to make more right away because these will be quickly eaten up! :)

Gonna make them tomorrow, just wondering do you use milk or semi sweet chocolate?

I make these with Special K cereal. I like to think it’s “healthier” for you then! HAHAHA!
