A great winter season cookie.
Cream butter and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour and mix well.
Roll dough to a 1/5″ inch thickness on a lightly floured surface; cut with a 2-inch round cutter (I used a water glass). Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Make a dent in the middle of each cookie with your thumb and add 1/4 teaspoon jam.
Bake at 375F for 15 minutes, or until done. When cool, dust with powdered sugar.

omg, i’ve been trying to find a kolache recipe for ages. my husband and i tried them on a trip a several years ago and i feel in love. i’m super excited to try out this recipe.
