Description

Fresh Italian prune plums combine with a sweet crumbly oat topping for a delicious dish.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE FRUIT:
  • 1 pound Italian Prune Plums, Pitted And Quartered
  • 4 teaspoons Flour
  • ½ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier Liqueur
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ cups Flour
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • ⅓ cups Quick Oats
  • 5 Tablespoons Butter, Slightly Softened

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

For the fruit, combine plums, flour, sugar, and liqueur in a bowl. Set mixture aside.

For the topping, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, quick oats, and butter with a mixer until it resembles coarse crumbs about the size of peas.

Place fruit mixture in a 1-quart dish and spread topping mixture evenly over the top of plums. Bake for 40 minutes or until the plums are bubbling and topping is golden brown.

Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
