Description

Rich, creamy and easy. Your summer won’t be complete until you’ve tried this!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (4-serving 3 Oz. Box) Raspberry Jello
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 3 cups Fresh Or Frozen Raspberries
  • ½ Tablespoons Salt
  • 4-½ cups Sugar
  • 1 quart Whipping Cream
  • 2 quarts Milk

Preparation

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add remaining ingredients and freeze in an electric freezer. See your electric freezer manual for the amount of ice and rock salt needed.

I have the kind that doesn’t require ice or salt. You just put it in the freezer until the liquid in the container wall freezes. In this case, I recommend chilling the ice-cream liquid for a few hours before freezing in the machine.

Makes 6 qts. of liquid. Can be adjusted to your machine’s size. Ice cream should be a soft consistency. It tastes better that way.

This sounds amazing. Bet some semi-sweet mini chocolate chips would be tasty over the top too.

Super easy and yummy. I love that it doesn’t have raw eggs so you don’t have that cooking step in the preparation. It makes this ice cream quick to prepare. The tartness of the raspberries is great in the sweet ice cream base. I’m sure I’ll make this again!
