These cookies feature a Hershey’s Kiss encased in a chocolate chip shortbread dough. They are a fantastic way to make new friends and influence people! No one can resist these, especially fresh from the oven. These will make you a sought-after guest at any holiday party, as they make fantastic hostess gifts. They’re also great for a cookie exchange.
Unwrap all of the candies in the bag. There should be about 4 dozen. Set aside.
Cream together margarine and sugars. Add vanilla.
Slowly incorporate flour until dough comes together nicely. Do not overmix, or it could get crumbly. This is a shortbread cookie dough, not the usual chocolate chip cookie dough.
Add chocolate chips. This dough will seem hard to work with, but persist. The end result is amazing!
Take a small amount of dough and encase 1 kiss inside of dough. Experiment to see how little dough you can use and still hide the kiss. This will result in the best chocolate to cookie ration–YUM!
Place on ungreased or parchment paper lined (optional) cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-11 min. You’ll want to remove these before they brown.
I dare you to eat just one! Feel free to email me if you have any questions. [email protected]. ENJOY!

Hi Jenn!
Made these yesterday and they are AWESOME! I thought the dough would taste like regular choc. chip cookie dough but it is much richer. We loved them. They were easy to make, too. My six-yr. old daughter helped and we had great fun making them together. Thanks for the great recipe! It will be one of our standbys I’m sure.

Hi Jenn!
Just got back from Walmart where we picked up a bag of Kisses for this recipe. Katie and I were on TK, looking for new cookies to try, saw this one and – what do you know! – it was you! I told Katie, “Hey that’s Jenn! That’s Mommy’s friend from GA!”
We’re making the cookies soon, then I can write a real review – I know they’ll be awesome.
