Did you love mall cookies growing up? I did. Always had to have one. Recently, the mall cookie giant Great American Cookie Co. disappeared from my local malls and I’ve been missing their cookies, so I tinkered with a few recipes to make an imitation that’s pretty close to the taste of the original! A chewy, caramel-y chocolate chip cookie that melts in your mouth!
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl with a whisk.
3. Mix butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a mixer bowl until creamy.
4. Add eggs and mix.
5. Gradually stir in flour mixture.
6. Add 3 cups mix-ins; stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
7. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls, two inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
8. Bake for 9-10 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire racks.
