This is my grandma’s recipe. You will find nothing like it anywhere. I had to call my mom to get the recipe. Be careful though these are very crumbly and loaded with the Dutchwoman’s favorite ingredient, butter!
Preheat oven to 350
Bring butter to room temperature, then add flour, sugar and cornstarch.
Once everything is well blended, pat into the bottom of a sheet pan.
Cook for about 15 minutes or until edges start to brown.
While still warm but not hot, top with powdered sugar glaze.
1 T butter, melted
1 Cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
Blend all ingredients and add a little food coloring if desired.
