My Grandma Rose’s famous dishpan cookie: chewy, yet crispy with coconut, pecans, and a “secret” ingredient to add some crunch. Plus, this recipe makes a LOAD of the goodies (hence the need for a DISHPAN!). Enjoy!
Combine ingredients together in order given, mixing well. (I suggest a very large bowl, or a clean dishpan). Drop by spoonfuls (I make mine a little smaller than a golf ball) onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes. Do not over-brown. Trust me: about 9 minutes is perfect!

I’m a coconut lover and these were delish.I’ve had requests for more and I’m making them now.
