Brownies are a classic dessert; who doesn’t like them? Whether they’re fudgy, loaded with peanut butter or nuts, have a crackled top, or topped with frosting, it’s hard to go wrong with brownies. And this recipe isn’t about to break that trend!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Stir the cocoa into the melted butter, then blend in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Blend in the coconut and chocolate chips, if using.
In a greased 9×11 baking pan, evenly spread the batter. Top with more coconut and chocolate chips if desired.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
