This oatmeal cookie smells and tastes like the holidays! With cranberries, orange zest and cloves it puts a fun twist on a traditional oatmeal favorite.
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl cream together the margarine and sugar. Add the egg and orange zest and mix well.
In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, cloves and salt. Add the dry goods to the wet and mix. Stir in the oats and cranberries.
Use a tablespoon and scoop the dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet, leaving about an inch between. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.

Carolina, have you tried regular oats rather than quick oats? I much prefer them. If you haven’t, I will, and will let you know how it goes.
