Description

My kids love cinnamon, therefore, they love snickerdoodles! After making them so many times, coating each and every cookie in cinnamon sugar made me crazy. This is a good alternative, full of cinnamon taste, and not so time-consuming.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ¼ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2-¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1-⅛ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

1. Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
2. Add egg and vanilla and blend well.
3. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, and up to 2 days.
6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, cool and enjoy!

Hi. I just made snickerdoodles for my party at the bookstore and you are right, they take awhile to roll in the sugar. I am looking forward to trying these.

Best,
