I have never made a cookie recipe that uses so much butter, but this recipe produces so many cookies that it all evens out in the end. I think it ended up making 80+ cookies! This recipe uses a form of pudding: instant chocolate pudding mix. The pudding mix makes the cookies soft and moist, which is always a bonus in my book.
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars.
Beat in the pudding mix.
Add in the eggs and vanilla beat until well mixed.
Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Then mix in the chocolate chips.
Drop a heaping tablespoonful of batter onto the cookie sheets for each cookie.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are set in the middle.
