Description

I can’t hide my sheer enthusiasm for this yummy chocolate pudding. Believe it or not, I make it at least twice a week and just can’t have enough of it. But this is not really your ordinary chocolate pudding that you get in a restaurant or coffee house.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cold Water
  • ½ cups Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch Or Corn Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 Tablespoons Chopped And Roasted Hazelnuts

Preparation

Combine water, maple syrup, cocoa, cornstarch or corn flour and vanilla together in a saucepan. Whisk smooth with a spoon or hand whisker. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly until pudding is very thick.

Pour into dessert dishes and top with chopped hazelnuts. Cool and serve.

I made this and had to tell you THANK YOU! We love it. I did make it with 1% milk because it needed used. Calorie content is still not bad for a dessert (I figured 180 each,4 servings made w/milk). This will be a regular for us.

This is wonderful! It is easy to make and if you are a regular baker of any sort you already have everything you need to make it. Of course it’s chocolate and there is no doubt about that. Thank you!
