Description

This is a classic Potluck Chocolate-Peanut Butter pie. If you don’t like peanut butter, step away from this recipe. I’m serious, man. You’re in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you do like peanut butter … you’re about to get your fill!

Ingredients

  • FOR CRUST
  • 25 whole Oreos
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • _____
  • PEANUT BUTTER FILLING:
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 package (8 Ounce) Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1-¼ cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 package (8 Ounce) Cool Whip, Thawed

Preparation

Crust:
Crush the Oreos until they’re fine crumbs. Pour melted butter over the top and stir with a fork to combine. Press into pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes, or until set.

Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

Filling:
Beat the peanut butter with the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add in the thawed Cool Whip and beat mixture until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.

Pour filling into crust, evening out the top with a knife or spatula. Chill for at least an hour before serving.

Warning: This is ultra, ultra-rich. Cut small slivers—your guests will thank you!

Wonderful!! I made this for my sister-in-laws birthday because she didn’t want cake. This is a super easy recipe! I drizzled some melted chocolate chips on top prior to serving.

This is VERY YUMMY! I cheated and used a premade oreo crust and it was SO easy. I had a nice glass of cold milk with it and it slid right down.

I freaking love peanut butter pie! I use to work at a bbq restaurant in TN. They had a similiar recipe. I think they added a little milk, and crushed reese’s peanut butter cups. oh man, is it good! I also like to add a little whip cream & more crushed reese’s on top.

I made this for a co-workers birthday. I don’t like peanut butter – it takes me forever to get through a jar but this pie was fabulous! I melted some chocolate and drizzled it on top after the pie was cooled and it made for a very pretty presentation. It was also so easy! Great recipe

Just made this for a dinner last night… Delicious! Everyone loved it. It’s a little rich but I had no problem eating a whole slice.

I’m a huge peanut butter pie fan, and this is absolutely fantastic! It is a little rich, but just cut a smaller piece and it’s all good :-) The fact that it is super fast and easy to make, makes it even better!

A M A Z I N G! Made this and brought it to a family weekend away and it was devoured. I even caught people sneaking it out of the fridge for a midnight treat well after everyone said they were stuffed. I would always make room for this amazing pie! Easy to make too :)

Fantastic dish. Yes, it is rich, so we just cut smaller pieces. My husband is a huge peanut butter pie fan, and he said this tops his list. THANKS!

Was a little too rich for me, even as a peanut butter lover. But I would definitely make it again!
