This scrumptious dessert was passed down from my grandma. It’s absolutely impossible to resist!
1st Layer: Melt butter in a 9×13 pan. Add flour and nuts. Pat to bottom of pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.
2nd Layer: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, 1 1/2 cups of cool whip and 2 tsp milk together. Mix and spread over cooled crust.
3rd Layer: Whip pudding and 2 cups of milk together and pour over 2nd layer.
4th Layer: Cover third layer with remaining cool whip.
5th Layer: Sprinkle leftover chopped walnuts on top.

Donna – “Sex in a Pan” is the most perfect name for this recipe! Much more descriptive than “Chocolate Layer Dessert.” lol!
I’m afraid to make it again when I’m trying to lose extra pounds. So yummy!

When my son was young this was his absolute favorite dessert. He always requested it. Everyone enjoys this!

I haven’t thought of this dessert in years! Now I can’t wait to make it again.
We used to try different pudding combinations & sprinkling flavored jello powder into the cool whip. Cheesecake pudding with strawberry cool whip was tasty. So was pistachio pudding.
Thank you for reminding me of this great recipe! ;o}

I am so glad I found this recipe. I used to make this along time ago but unfortunately I lost the recipe. The name of the recipe that I used was called “Sex in a Pan”. Not my idea but everyone loved it.
