Description
Delicious chocolate gravy that can be served with biscuits for dessert or breakfast.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ Tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preparation
Combine dry ingredients in a sauce pan. Over medium heat stir in milk slowly. Add 1/4 T. of butter. Stir until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Serve over hot buttered biscuits or toast.

I remember having this when I was a kid.I made it for my kids a few months ago. They didnt seem to enjoy it as much as I did. I loved putting buttered biscuits in it.

This brings back memories of my childhood. My Mom made this for us when we were little. We loved it over warm buttery biscuits. I didn’t realize anyone else made this. I’m going to make it for my kids tomorrow. Thank you for submitting this recipe.
