Let me tell you about these chocolate fudge brownies. They’re very gooey, very rich (read: high butter/sugar to flour ratio). My mom has been making them forever and no other recipe compares. And my friends all tell me so. So good served up warm and with vanilla Hagen Daz ice cream.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in white and brown sugar and cocoa powder.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add eggs to butter sugar mixture. Mix well with a whisk.
Sift flour and baking powder over the mixture and stir in. Add vanilla and mix.
Pour into a lightly greased 9 x 11 baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
