An extremely moist and delicious chocolate cherry cake! Excellent with a side of French vanilla ice cream.
Combine the cake mix, cherry pie filling, almond flavoring and eggs in a bowl and mix together until moist.
Note: Make sure you only mix it until it is well combined and moist. If you over mix it, you will break all the cherries up too fine and you won’t have the large chunks of cherry in your cake.
Pour into a 9×13 baking pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees (F).
Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Frost with chocolate icing (I used chocolate fudge icing but you can use whatever chocolate icing you prefer).
