Description

A chocolate chunk cookie full of walnuts and a crunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¾ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 whole Egg Yolk
  • 11-½ ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks
  • 1 cup Walnut Halves, Toasted

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Combine butter, sugars, egg, and egg yolk in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture, until well blended. Stir in chocolate chunks and walnuts.

Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 325ºF for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool cookies slightly on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
